Where the money goes

In 2002 I needed a bone marrow transplant that was kindly donated by my sister Marie. During my treatment the Leukaemia Foundation was fantastic, providing accommodation for me & my family. In 2005 I ran my first City2Surf just to see if I could.

Former patient, 8 time City2Surf participant

The Leukaemia Foundation has been like an extended family to me whilst my husband was going through chemo for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. On days when I was scared I could call the blood cancer coordinator and have a chat. She would reassure me things will be ok and that we are not alone.
